How long will the above take to implement? Other than the payment functionality, it is expected to be done before the end of the year.

In addition to what we talk about in the video, we are also working on full communications functionality: Chat, Voice communication, Video communication, screen sharing to multiple users, and remote control functionality for Sierra Chart users. For example you can share your trading activity with other users and also narrate with chat or voice.

I think Sierra Charts are the best.

However, I am a OneUp Trader. Maybe you can continue to support SC with a Rithmic feed; but, only for existing account holders of Sierra Charts as of a certain date. In other words, if a trader is not a OneUp Trader as of a cut off date, like Dec. 31, 2020, then the Rithmic feed for Sierra Charts would not be supported. This will provide an additional incentive for a trader to use or start to use Sierra Charts and continue to use them. It would also provide an incentive for a trader to continue on with their OneUp Trader program. Everyone wins with this situation....SC wins since some of their customers have an incentive to start and continue with Sierra Charts. OneUp Traders win since they can continue with their platform.

I believe it is a lot of ask for a trader to stop being a OneUp Trader and start on an entirely new method of earning money through their trading.

I think, if you look out for the small traders it will come back to you many times over.

Did I mention that I think Sierra Charts are the best?

Forgive me if I'm not understanding correctly but how is this exactly an alternative to funded trading accounts like TopStep and OneUp? Is Sierra Chart providing a mechanism for users to trade a funded account? To me this sounds like a "signal" service where users can pay to view trades from another user (not that that's a bad thing). But how would this serve as an alternative to the prop firms? Users would still have to put up their own capital right? Or is the plan to have prop firms that use Rithmic adopt this technology? I love SC but just don't see how this is the same or even close. I would much rather pay the fee and be able to trade and risk much larger sizes than am currently capable of trading with my own capital, than use my own capital and also have to rely on other users to make money. Some explanation would be appreciated. Thanks.

EDIT: Just watched the video again and understand now that there is no way to copy trades from a Sierra Chart user with this new technology. So what incentive is there to use this versus a prop firm? $5 - $20 a month per user as a profitable trader is pennies compared to what could be made with a true funded account trading 15 ES contracts for example. If you are truly profitable then why would you not just trade with a different platform and be able to use funded accounts to trade much larger sizes and gain much more than the some odd $1000 per month from using this SC service? To me this only helps traders who can already afford to trade more than the sizes offered by prop firms, in which case the profits to be made from selling trading activity are very minimal. I myself have decided to only use Sierra Chart free version with AMP for charting and switch to Jigsaw for execution so I can trade with OneUp Trader. Just not understanding the point of this. It seems nice as a supplemental SC feature but not as an alternative to prop firms which are geared towards people who are undercapitalized.

As we have made clear, Rithmic will still be supported in older versions after December 31, 2020. So you will still be able to continue to use Rithmic.

Yes thank you.

Currently the Sierra Chart Simulated Futures Trading Service/Trading Evaluator, already allows you to have an unalterable and verifiable trading record that can be shared with prop firms. Already one prop firm is using this for that purpose. So we just want to make that clear. Information about this service:
Simulated Futures Trading Service

And as far as being able to follow the trading activity of another user and being able to duplicate trades automatically, the duplication of trades can be done through a custom study. It was not mentioned in the video.

And finally, Sierra Chart is always an open charting and trading platform utilizing the standard DTC protocol. So interfaces can be developed to any service including Rithmic. We do not have to be involved in that. Others can invest in the development and maintain that.

I love SC but just don't see how this is the same or even close.
It is not the intent to make it the same. It is our intent to look at what we offer, and see how to provide an alternative within our technical infrastructure and have something which is community oriented, rather than interacting with a one-sided service.

And one thing we have said previously but not in this latest video is that by sharing your trading activity, publicly, you can then gain the interest of prop firms who would want to fund you or have you join them since they can see the trading activity and the performance and see who are the better and consistent traders.

And finally, we need to make it abundantly clear, we are not doing anything here to keep users who want to use one up trader or top step trader. You need to make a decision whether you want to use Sierra Chart or not. At this point in time consider these services unsupported by Sierra Chart.

Beyond what we have said above, we have no further information to provide.
