Hello,
I am somewhat new to SC so please forgive me if this is user error.

When I place an order Long or Short with a OCO STOP and TARGET - my stop always becomes a stop limit and is 3 points away.

IF I leave all settings the same and trade it sim- the STOP stays a STOP rather than turning into a STOPLMT like my live trades do with the same settings.

AMP futures said it sounds like something I should ask you guys cause they aren't sure.

Pictures attached.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you! Doesn’t 3 points seem tight for that? Or am I misunderstanding?

Edit: never mind- I watched the video and now understand! Thank you!

This is kinda in the weeds but I’m struggling to understand how a market order not filling outside of +/-3points in es is a good think for “protection” - what if something crazy happened and you just wanted flat but it was moving crazy fast and not allowing the fill?? Am I understanding it correctly?

Yes, you are absolutely correct to be concerned.

Read what I posted about that in Post #7 this thread:
