Hello, can you please support, I have the third system crash of Sierra in a row now today. Never ever had any system crash before with it. It just switches to non-responding and stays there. Version 2144 64-bit I have no idea why |

The first thing to do is run in Safe Mode. This will eliminate any third party programs that may be causing an issue. Refer to the information here for how to run in Safe Mode: Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions If you have a problem after this, then let us know. Otherwise, the issue is with some third party program that you are using. Ok will do thanks, although it seems I tracked it down to the use of a certain quote spreadsheet, I will have a further look

Ok, let us know for sure what you find. If it is the quote spreadsheet, then please attach your chartbook with the quote spreadsheet and let us know how to reproduce the problem and we will take a look. Refer to the information here for how to attach a chartbook: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart The Quote Spreadsheet is a separate file, and you will need to attach that as a regular file. Refer to the information here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Yes, I just used it in safe mode and it runs, except when I open the quote spreadsheet. Then I get the same behavior and Sierra stops responding. How to reproduce is a bit trickier as it is just "normal work", clicking through the chartbooks watching the charts, having the spreadsheet open on the side. Switching also between the spreadsheet and the chartbook. Then after a short time it stops responding. This is new since I loaded the new version of SC as I always worked like that before. It cannot be coincidence as it ran for long time now and also with safe mode everything seemed fine, without the spreadsheet. I reproduced the behavior four times in a row now. Spreadsheet is attached. I have four chartbooks open, how should I provide them? In full, or all 4 with only one chart, or only one with one chart? The quote spreadsheet is in detached mode. Thanks |

Just attach the chartbook that the Quote Spreadsheet is associated with. If you are not sure, then attach it first and it will go to the particular chartbook. Then supply that entire chartbook.

We have used your Chartbook and Quote Spreadsheet and we are unable to reproduce the problem. But, there was a change in release 2146 that could be related to what you are seeing. Please update to the current release and see if that resolves your issue.
