Hello,
I added the "Ask/Bid Volume Difference Bars" study to my charts yesterday and initially had no issues. Then, without obvious reason, many of the bars drifted from the zero line making for an erratic look. Screenshot link of chart below. I took off the study, re-added it. Reloaded the chart, all to no avail. Any assistance in fixing this would be appreciated. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1596649423692.png

Thank you,

Evan Whitacre

That is not necessarily unusual, and you are using a non-Sierra Chart data feed and we cannot help with any data issues with that.

We recommend using the Denali Exchange Data Feed:

We have looked into this, and we will document why this is the case.

It is not known what the opening Ask Volume and Bid Volume difference is. The best that can be used is the prior close. The only exception is when the chart bars are set to 1 trade per bar. In that case the opening difference can be calculated.

So the open value is set to 0. However, of 0 is outside the high to low range, the open is changed to the nearest value.
