HeyUgly - Posts: 233
weird problem, attached is IQfeed's reply
1 have 6 tickers up
4 giving me data, 2 are not.
IQfeed said that seirra is requesting data for over 500 tickers, as attached screenshot of iqfeed connection manager
I have 6 tickers open only
pease help me resolve this issue, i have no idea why Sierra would be requesting all these tickers,
i am not running any fancy indicators, scanners etc, none.
because seirra is requesting over 500 tickers, the 2 i am not getting data for, will not populate data, im "maxed out"
i literally have 6 tickers open on a chartbook, how do i fix this error?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!

The first thing you need to do is to look at the Status Bar in your Control Bar (the one that normally green and has a bunch of numbers and letters in it). Look for the letters ST, the number after that is the number of Symbols Tracked by Sierra Chart. If that is 500, then you do indeed have 500 symbols being tracked for some reason. If it states 6, then there is something else going on.

If it really does show 500, then refer to the information here for how to figure out and remove those extra symbols being tracked:
