Possible bug with set defaults

This happened to me for the first time with version 2120, and never had this before. Since I have had it now about 20 times in the last few weeks, I decided to share it, in the hope I could get an easy way around it. It does not happen all the time, but very often (~ 1 out of 5 ish) When I open studies, and then a study and change something, followed by pressing "set Defaults" all pop-up screens (study settings and studies (below it)) disappear and I am unable to get one of them back. Suddenly I find myself stuck and whatever I do I just hear the error alert. So far the only way out is via a restart of SC. I tried many different Ctrl- combinations etc., but are just left with the error alert sound. Any suggestions how to get around this? |

We have had about two reports of problems related to this. We are unable to reproduce this. We suspect it is some sort of Windows bug. We will implement a workaround for it to the extent we understand it.

We implemented a workaround to the extent we think we might know generally what is going wrong at the operating system level, sort of. This is in version 2130. This is happening on both my Windows 10 test system with V2130 and also on my Linux/Wine system with V2130
