Hi I decided to start trading and I've opened account at AMP futures/CQG. I've been subscribing HKEX futures data through Sierra Chart but since I can only connect to one source at "data trade service settings" I have to choose CQG and use their data feed. I just deactivated both the HKEX futures data feed and realtime data connection ($25/month)at the control panel. I will then subscribe to my futures broker's data feed. Please let me know if I've done this correctly? Do I need to maintain the real-time data connection in order for this to work?
And if there's gonna be extra cost if I need to reactivate the real time connection?

The answer to your question is Yes, you have deactivated the Sierra Chart Exchange Data feed properly. You will no longer receive data from Sierra Chart as of tomorrow (July 1, 2020).

But, your initial assumption is incorrect. You can connect to CQG for trading and still use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed for your data. At this point, it is up to you as to how you want to proceed.

You can either use the CQG data or the Sierra Chart data. If you want to use the Sierra Chart data, there are no additional fees to reactivate it, just the same cost per month as what you were paying previously.

I have already signed up for CQG's data so I will stick with it for now.
May I know if I also need to reactivate the "real time data connection" ($25/month) service if I'm receiving CQG feed?

Thanks
