New bug with replay and random entries/exits

The new version (just installed today) seems to have a major bug with the replay. Here's an example where I have replayed and stepped through the timeline at 0.01 speed and captured a frame where it's showing -6 short but M3 is empty and there's no code to go short here. https://share.getcloudapp.com/9ZujDjpx

In fact I'm getting lots of problems of these two kinds: a) replay issues where it adds new ficticious trades when using the Jump back feature, and b) reversals where there shouldn't be and exits when there shouldn't be.

This latest version 2125 is unusable and I have wasted my entire day trying to figure out why. I'm giving up. Is this a known issue? Shall I just revert to the previous version?

Another bug that may be causing the rest of them: the studies keep jumping around between when the replay is paused or playing. Check out these screenshots of the exact same spreadsheet but one is paused and the other is played.

Some thoughts:
- You are replaying two separate charts of the same symbol, each with their own entry rules.
- The Chart Data Output Sheet Number settings on two charts is causing a conflict.
- You are using the same-named spreadsheet concurrently in two chartbooks.

IOW, it's probably not a bug, but rather some issue with settings or the setup.
I've been using v2125 in replay all day without issue.

Thanks again Tom.

When you pause a replay on a bar with a trade, go back by a bar, change a trade setting, then resume playing, does it adhere to the change or register the same trade as before? This is also what mine is doing. When going back it does not remove trades, so when playing it the same trades show up even when there is no trigger.

It adheres to the change, but the original trade is not cleared from the TAL so your P/L will be inaccurate. But I've never seen what you describe except in the situations I mentioned in post #3.

I wonder if this issue is related:
Chart Replay Issue - Can't create a new Order -
Orders fill automatically when using replay in sim mode
Trade simulation fill at current price rather than replay price

Thanks. Why is the original trade not cleared?

Why is the original trade not cleared?
That is a question for SC Engineering.

There are definitively no problems at all.

And you should not be making postings like you are and coming to ridiculous conclusions. You make it sound as though there is something seriously wrong when there is absolutely nothing wrong. You are creating your own problems.

There is new enhanced functionality available to allow the the replay of existing fills.

Refer to this section and the following section:
Replaying Charts: Replay and Trading (Replay and Trading)

And be sure to read the highlighted section.

Posts 2 through 7 are disregarded.

Thanks. I read that section Justo now and it basically says that the expected functionality of the replay feature is not supported. This is not a bug therefore, it’s a deficiency. Is that correct?

Can you please point me to some documentation on how to efficiently debug one’s spreadsheet without using jump back?

Here's another issue I encountered today. I'm replaying and everything is working fine. Suddenly it stops using the attached orders without me having done anything. I had to stop and back up a bit to get this screenshot, but you can see the attached orders are not there, whereas the previous 22 orders all worked perfectly. https://share.getcloudapp.com/JruLGp68

Another good one for you. Here it traded 2 instead of 1 during a new replay (not using jump). It has been trading 1 all previous 94 trades, and then suddenly trades 2. https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuQmRZ1

And another anomaly. Here it shows a decrease in P/L Closed in the study, but on the chart you can see that it was actually +4 ticks. https://share.getcloudapp.com/lluJ0wdp

Regarding post #10, you need to start the replay again. Use a different trading account if you want to preserve the existing trade activity.

Regarding post #11 and #12, refer to:
Automated Trading Management: Troubleshooting Automated Trading System Behavior

Regarding post #13, there could not be possibly anything wrong. We are not understanding what you are trying to show and this would be a chargeable support request as this would take an in-depth examination and going through this with your files.
