Can you tell me what this setting in the "trading based on alert condition" study calculates and what effect it would have on an auto trading system? is it cumulative? (ie majority of bars match your auto trade parameters) Volume based? |

So if I understand this correctly the "number of bars to calculate" means that after a signal is generated that signal will be the "bias" for the following "number of bars to calculate"? ie if its set to 200 and a signal is generated it will only trade in that direction for the next 200 bars, then the next signal after the 200 bars will determine the next bias? "Number of Bars to Calculate: This Input defines how many chart bars for which the Alert Condition will be evaluated. The primary purpose of this Input is to reduce calculation time. It has no other practical purpose." Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-06-15 12:36:52
