how can I monitor many stocks for an RSI signal in 1 minute chat. Is this possible with a spreadsheet portfolio or do I have to open a chart for each stock?

If you want to see the value of the RSI at the same time for all the stocks, then you would need to have charts for each one. The charts can be hidden. You would then use the Study Summary Window to see the values.
