I have received this notice that action needs to be taken by May 15th and have tried to update the current version. I keep getting a download failed message. I have copied and posted both the notice to update and the error log. Am I ok to with my current version or what do I have to do to successfully download the current version? Any help would be greatly appreciated.


-Notice A problem related to unnecessary historical daily data downloading for continuous futures contract charts in a sub instance (File >> New Instance), has been resolved. Users will need to update to release 2086 or higher before May 15. After May 15, the sub instance feature will be disabled in older versions.

-IMPORTANT Technical Notice: Versions 2010 through 2016 are affected by a problem with historical data downloads where they would improperly timeout causing missing data if you had your operating system running for 50 days without a restart. This is now resolved in version 2017. To update Sierra Chart select Help >> Download Current Version. To download the missing data, refer to Retrying the Download When There is Data in the Chart.

- If you experience any issues with missing historical Intraday data, then update to the current version with Help >> Download Current Version. There have been some changes with the background infrastructure for historical Intraday data and some users have experienced a problem on earlier versions.

-Technical Notice: We have become aware of a problem, where sometimes when left clicking on a chart/child window tab or Chartbook tab within the main window, will cause mouse pointer input directed towards the main menu, a chart, the Trade Window or elsewhere to not be captured any longer until you switch away from Sierra Chart and back again. This is now resolved in 2048 and higher.

-Technical Notice: If there is any display problem with prices or with market depth data for the CBOT interest symbols: N1U, UB, ZB, ZF, ZN, ZT, then update to the current version with Help >> Download Current Version.

-Technical Notice: If an error is encountered indicating an invalid session ID when uploading an image, then update to the current version with Help >> Download Current Version.

-Technical Notice: If you are a user of the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and you have activated more than one real-time connection, it is necessary to update to the current version of Sierra Chart to be able to reliably access these connections simultaneously, if you cannot already. Update to the current version with Help >> Download Current Version.

-Version 2102 is available. To download, select Help >> Download Current Version.

The Message Log you posted does not show any attempt to update the Sierra Chart software. From within Sierra Chart, are you selecting Help >> Download Current Version?


What we want you to do, is update Sierra Chart using this installer:
https://www.sierrachart.com/downloads/SierraChartFileDownloader.exe

And install Sierra Chart into its existing location:
C:\Users\Mark\Desktop\SierraChart

Also this is not the correct location you installed Sierra Chart into.

It should be installed into C:\SierraChart instead. You can move it:
