DOM and chart prices not matching!

So Sierra Chart, which was showing a live data connection, suddenly disconnected while I was in trades, then reconnected and after reconnecting the following occurred:

- DOM showed deep P&L and price trading 5-6 points below actual price.
- Charts were not showing current candles and they also showed price 5-6 points below actual price.
- The Quote Board prices were current prices.

I restarted Sierra Chart 4 times before everything was syncing again. Quite concerning.

I flattened the position which cost me about $350-400, which sucks, but whatever. I'm not that concerned about that. The bigger issue is, is this a KNOWN issue?

SLOW response time for a critical issue.

I'm trying the following: Incorrect Date and/or Time Display, Missing Historical Intraday Data, Chart Not Updating

In the meanwhile, having a DOM that shows INCORRECT pnl and chart bars not updating while at the same time showing a price that doesn't relate to bars on the chart is a big deal! I'm VERY concerned this may happen again! The fact I fixed it by restarting Sierra Chart 4 times is not a reason for this to fall by the wayside.

Definitely no need to do this. Restarting was completely irrelevant to the issue. Do not do that. It is completely unrelated and unnecessary. You are only continuing the waiting of the historical data to be downloaded.

If there is a lost connection, and then there is a reconnection, the charts will download the missing historical data. The amount of data missing would be based upon the amount of time of the disconnection.

It is really hard from our perspective to answer specifically what has happened because we really did not see it and do not know exactly what the situation was. And no, there is no known issue here at all.

chart bars not updating while at the same time showing a price that doesn't relate to bars on the chart is a big deal!

I do have the "Historical Download Complete" setting on and am always aware of it, and it had finished in all 3 cases where the bars and DOM were not displaying current price correctly. Regardless, if this isn't some known issue, I'll chalk it up to an odd disconnection. Also, I'll make sure system time is set correctly. I remember something about giving Sierra Chart admin privileges when I first set up Sierra, and I would guess that doesn't change each time I update the client (I'm on version 2092, which I updated to today, so that's the only correlation I have to this issue).

Edit: I was referring to the Trade DOM, "P&L" column. I had entered around 75-77.25, and upon orders filling, the disconnection occurred. When Sierra automatically reconnected me, the DOM was 5-6 points lower, all charts were not showing the current candle, and prices were showing 5-6 points lower (matching the DOM).

Edit 2: I then "flattened" the position, since woah, price made a huge spike, and then looked at my DPL, which showed I took a loss.

Edit 3: the loss on the trade then prompted me to look at other brokers (TDA, IKBR) which showed prices still at where I entered. Sucks. But the bigger issue is this not happening again.
