hi, Im using Flex Renko charts, volume charts, for many time frames. when usually load new chartbook symbol, for example ES, it takes long time to Download data, and just the charts are empty and there is an phrase says downloading continuos Contract Data.

Ive deleted all data and download again, but takes long time as a describe before, sometimes I disconnect a connects the data, and its starts to load information more quick, but for long term charts the information loaded is incomplete (for some months there is no data)

Please your help.

Thanks

Refer to this section to improve download performance:
Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Improving Historical Intraday Data Downloading Performance

You really have to increase the Intraday Data Storage Time Unit to a higher interval. We recommend starting with 1 Minute to quickly get the problem solved.

And if there is any missing data in a continuous futures contract chart, then follow the instructions here:

Hi, Thanks for your answer,
how about the accuracy of the data, Now i have 1 tick as intraday Data Storage time unit. I read the information you sent me, which clarify this:

"
Increase the Intraday Data Storage Time Unit setting. For the best performance use 1 Minute. However, this setting may not be acceptable depending upon the type of chart bars you are using.

For example, with Number of Trades, Volume, Range, Reversal, Renko, Delta Volume, Price Change, Point and Figure Bars, a setting of 1 Second or 1 Tick is necessary for accuracy.

However, to improve performance you really need to increase this to 5 Seconds or higher. The larger the time unit, the better the performance.
"

Im using Flex renko charts, deep data chart level 2. I want precise live data, do you know know how historical data precision and live intraday data is affected to increase the intraday Data Storage time unit.

thanks

The first thing is to solve the performance issue. When you use 1 minute data does it solve the slow downloading? You are going to have to sacrifice some accuracy. There is no other possibility. You cannot get both. Obviously you have a problem with connectivity.

Ive been checking, and with live data apparently there is not problem. Due to the big amount historic data for renko charts for some years back, it take some time downloading the information, but once the information has been downloaded completely initially, after that the information load quicker for charts , so in conclusion i dont think there is any problem with that.

Thanks For your help.
