Hi, I programmed and shared a custom study named ECIVwap(*). It is part of the user contributed studies.
I updated the code for the study to work with recent sierra changes.
Can you please update the existing version of the contributed studies ?
The study is fully open source and compiles perfectly using the remote compiler.

Hello,

I've been using it aswell, for years.

Perfectly well untill some months ago when my chartbooks began to lag a lot. Even to load them now, it's a nightmare.

Trying to find the cause, I've found that Ecivwap is using a ton of time to load.

I don't know if ecivwap is the only reason to the extreme lag I'm experiencing, but ...

Could it be?

Thank you

Not enough information to answer.
Can you try to use the latest version I uploaded earlier in this thread? (you need to compile it... if this is a problem let me know).

well, I'm using the latest SierraChart, which has your latest code included ... ?

your .cpp has v1.5 written inside (const SCString g_StudyVersion = "V1.5";)

and as you can see in the attached pic. I'm using the EciWap 1.5

Anyway I did compile the code you posted, with remote build, and tried it. Same loading time.

However I don't thing is your code the responsible of the lag. Other studies have big loading times aswell.

I've been doing different tests and IT SEEMS, by the time being, that the lag (the loading of the data frozes) when there is the study price overlay involved, which I use a lot.

But I'm not sure still.

Anyway, THANK YOU very much W
