I am attempting to load a portion of an intraday continuous futures contract (ES) (2010-2013) to cut back on load time as I switch between chart bar periods, however the software is loading all data from the start date I input to the present (The small loading percentage window goes all the way into 2020 contracts). When the loading process is finished the chart is correctly displayed with only the date range I inputted, but the purpose of speeding up load time is defeated by the loading unnecessary data from the file. Is this a bug? Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but this seems to be incorrect behavior judging by the documentation:

"The From and To settings specify the First and Last dates of data to load into the chart from the data file.

.......

These settings are useful to look at days in an Intraday chart data file that go back a significant amount of time, without having to load all the data up to the current Date."

Thanks in advance

This issue has returned. It was fixed in the release that followed the original exchange, but the incorrect behavior is back. Not sure when it began acting up again as I have not used the feature in a while. Glad to provide screenshots or files if needed. Thanks in advance.

The basic problem is when we solved this we created another problem and then we get another problem report about that and then after we solved that, this problem comes back. And honestly we forgot what the other problem was precisely.

We really have to request that you change the symbol of the chart to match with the last date loaded. Do not use a future dated symbol relative to the last date to load. So you have the ability to solve this. We cannot go back and forth on this.
