improving futures order performance

ive been using your TT/amp service for futures and im noticing fairly frequently where orders take some time to process. Sometimes when i enter a trade, it sits at pending for a few seconds, a couple to times up to half a minute. After an order is entered, im trying to adjust the target price, and sometimes it's pending for several seconds (~10+). I'm a very quick scalper (often under am minute), so these delays can be scary. Which i would a delay of noticable significance happens ~10% of the time. Compred to TDAmeritrade the delays are more frequent and often longer. So im trying understand what might be causing this and how i might be able to improve it. I'm also using your multi-order system to auto set stops and multiple targets. Would performance improve if i didn't use it, since im assuming it has to run through another server for processing. thanks

For the record you are in Taiwan. This strictly is going to be due to an Internet connectivity issue in your case.

We need to know what Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service Setting >> Primary Server is set to. Also let us know the first backup server.

It is possible that your ISP is throttling or degrading Internet connectivity on the particular port being used.

No this is definitely not the case if you are referring to server managed attached Target and Stop orders. These are handled on the same order routing server and the speed of the management is going to be at most just a few microseconds.

Order routing is handled in less than 50 to 100 µs.

Right now we are testing our Singapore order routing server from Chicago which is routing through TT in Singapore and then back to Chicago and the response is going back to our Singapore server back to our test system in Chicago.

The response time is essentially immediate. There is no observable delay.

server 2, 1, 4 (primary, backup 1, backup 2). Should i change this since im in taiwan? i dont think the isp is trottling anything but i can test with a different internet connection

Try using server 5 which is in Singapore and see if that helps.

Otherwise, the settings you have for servers is fine.

And yes definitely do try a different Internet connection.
