Hello,

I am experiencing more and more datafeed disconnections. It happened again today at 16:22 GMT time. Can you have a look at it?

Yes, we are aware of a problem at 16:22 with the Sierra Chart CME data feed and this problem has been resolved. But other than this, you should not have any disconnections.

We do know there was an interruption today, but other than that, there has not been anything recently.

When we work on our servers, sometimes we do transfer users over to another server which would look like you get disconnected for 3 seconds and then you are reconnected to the next server. This is just nothing more than normal operation and there is no missing data because upon the reconnection any missing data is automatically downloaded.

I wrote it because previously we have been solving the issue of regular disconnections between TWS and SC. I tought that this is the issue again.

However, after the yesterday´s interruption I was downloading the missing data for all markets which I am trading currently, using the EDIT->Delete all data and download function. And I successfully downloaded data for all markets except EMD. If I do the same on EMD, I still see the gap from 16:22 until 16:38 GMT.

Disconnect issues with TWS have to be taken to Interactive Brokers. We will be patching the missing EMD data.

We confirmed that when you do lose connectivity to TWS, that the Sierra Chart data feed will continue to work as long as you do not select File >> Disconnect. And have Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Reconnect on Failure enabled.
