Not recognizing update version of IB

I installed the update to Sierra Chart. I followed my normal start-up order this morning loading IB first then SC. I received a System Notification Message starting that I needed TWS version 9392 or higher. I used the link provided to download the needed version from Interactive brokers. I then restarted first IB TWS (version 943.1C)and then Sierra Charts. I received the same System Notification Message again. I reinstalled both Sierra Chart and IB. No change.

The chart in IB TWS are displaying correctly but Sierra Chart is not connecting to the data feed from IB. Help please as I can not trade using Sierra Chart without the correct data being displayed.

You can ignore the System Notification message, it does not know what TWS version you are running. So it will always display but there is an option at the bottom of that window to not display it again.

We need to see the Message Log to determine why you cannot connect to TWS. Here are the instructions:

Update: I closed both Sierra Chart and IB TWS and then restarted them. Sierra Chart gave the same System Notification Message but the chart is now displaying the correct data. The display contents parameters have been modified but it's all there.

Yes, the Message Log does indicate that you are connected and you should be receiving data.
