Thanks cross! That helped. I'm still a little confused, hopefully you can clear this up for me. If I go through AMP TTNet would I also get the sierra chart real time feed or would that be extra ($35)?

The Sierra Realtime feed has a fee ($35) and there are additional exchange fees (eg. CME ~$3-15 for "non-professional" traders). See the link.

Mostly the Historical daily and intraday data is included for free in different packages and with different brokers.
Your platform will download historical daily/minute/tick data (available interval may differ) either from your service if that provides that or from SC Historical.

Real-time price and/or bid-ask/depth data must come from your service (mostly included in your monthly/transaction fees) or from the SC Realtime Direct Exchange feed which is a separately paid service. See the link how to activate.

Note the post above from the SC Support about CQG.

I'd go with that. Sierra with CQG (just as you did with NT7).
Sierra also supports server-side OCO with CQG!

Trade well!

Hi Support,

Just to clarify this as I am quite confused. Your post above:

----

"CQG is a good data feed. If use Sierra Chart with CQG, you should not need the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, but it is your choice.

In any case, this is possible. Follow the instructions on this page:

Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed

You will need to activate this data feed on your own direct Sierra Chart account. This is going to be the account that you have used to post on the support board with."

----

I have an AMP account with package 5 but wanted accurate bid ask data so moved to a direct subscription Sierra account with your Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed as I thought this is the only option. Is it actually the case that the AMP and CQG package would give me everything that I need for accurate bid ask data (for footprint charts) without the need for a separate direct Sierra chart account?

Thanks

Yes. But you need to be on version 1174 and higher and you need to use the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service in Sierra Chart named "AMP CQG".

I personally use Sierra with the CTS T4 feed and the bid/ask data is very accurate, it is as fast or faster than my Rithmic feed on another platform, and they have desktop/web/mobile apps as backups if need be. I highly recommend the CTS T4 feed (which is through FIX) with SC

Hi,

I have connected to the AMP CQG feed in DTS and am trying to view historical intraday data for the Aussie SPI 200 Futures via this feed.
I have the same feed running into Multicharts so I know that I can get historical tick by tick data back to eg the start of the current (March 15) contract.

However, in Sierra all I get is the last 10 minutes or so of intraday data.
The problem seems to be that the Sierra Historical Data feed does not support this symbol (F.US.APH15 on the AMP CQG feed within the Sierra Find Symbol portal).

So, how do I get SierraChart to use AMP CQG rather than Sierra Historical for historical intraday data ?

I've tried but I can't find the answer. Please help - I'm sure it's something really simple

Thank you for looking into this.

It does seem to be related specifically to this symbol as there is some historical data for the previous contract (Z).

The inversely correlated symbol is also missing from Sierra, although it is on the AMP CQG feed - this is the ten year Australian Treasury Bond.

Could I please ask that when you speak to AMP you get this symbol added into SierraChart too.

Many thanks

Support for Aussie SPI 200 Futures has been added for CQG. We need to look into the 10 year Australian Treasury Bond.

Historical Intraday data for the SPI begins last week.

We are adding this now:
10 year Australian Treasury Bond.

Later today, restart Sierra Chart to get the updated symbol settings.

Any Updates To AMP - CQG, TTnet, Rithmic or Sierra Chart

Hi, i was hoping you could update this thread? I'm considering to open an account with Amp Futures. The last time you commented on different data services was in 2014. I've noticed that some of the Sierra Data Service settings, now include cqg fix & TT Fix along with Rithmic.

I am using Sierra Package 5, directly with Sierra Charts. My question is -- How do these services now work for live data and using Sierra Historical as Backfill & Orders such as OCO? ty,

TT FIX is not a reasonable choice because it is going to get phased out. We recommend using CQG. You can find out what is included here:
CQG Trading Platform Service: What is Included

When using CQG the historical data is provided by Sierra Chart.

There is also the CTS trading platform service and the new connection model supported:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/CTS_T4.php#SetupInstructionsForAdvancedLowCostConnectionModel

We will be releasing live trading support for it, hopefully by the end of this coming week.

I am trading through Amp/SC/TTnet. When exactly will the TTnet feed not be offered any longer?

For anyone considering using SC with AMP/TTNet please note my recent experience.
I just funded my AMP to use SC/TTNet. When I requested the TT API platform for use with SC I received an email from their support saying that TTNet via the TT API is no longer free (even though there site still says it free) and now costs $400 p/month.

I'm setting up an account with AMP and have several options for data feeds:

CQG
TT-W (FIX)
Rithmic

Which one do you recommend? I'm asking again because the answers here are pretty old.

NOTE: I use cumulative delta in my trading.

Thanks
