I am getting an INITIALIZATION ERROR: Error creating the alert manager object. If you need more help, contact Sierra Chart Support for assistance.

I downloaded new version and I got this message. I re downloaded previous version and I still get this message. Once message ERROR comes up the software stops and will not upload.

This is unusual. Please try restarting your computer.

We see what potentially can cause this.

Go to the folder that Sierra Chart is installed to on your system and rename this file:
SCAlerts.json

To this name:
SCAlerts.json.noread

After this attach this file:
SCAlerts.json.noread

to this thread. You can set it to be private. So only we see it.

I did what you said......... Go to the folder that Sierra Chart is installed to on your system and rename this file:
SCAlerts.json

To this name:
SCAlerts.json.noread

after doing this, software booted up.

This thread is very old. We are locking it. Start a new thread and tell us precisely what the problem is.
