CUSTOM SPREAD SYMBOLS DO NOT UPDATE

Again this is a new issue and has nothing to do with TICK SIZE. The custom spread symbols when you log out of sierra chart at the end of the day must be reloaded with the delete all data and download the next day or they are not updated. This is on symbols that work. I am wondering if my sierra chart was not a fresh install since Gain capital if this could be some kind of issue with the symbols. It is very time consuming to manually update every custom spread symbol. thanks |

First do not re-download the data. We do not see how that is going to help at all. What exactly do you mean by "they are not updated."? Do you mean the missing historical data is not downloaded upon connection to the data feed, and the chart does not then update in real time? Tell us one of the spread symbols and we will run a test. HI THANK YOU FOR working so quickly on some of this stuff.THANK YOU!! LOVING DENALI. even under the last few days your platform and the feed were absolutely TOP NOTCH!!! it is es vs nq 1: 1 it does not update going forward. i.e. if i log off sierra now at 11/30 pm then my spread chart stops at this point. When i turn the computer back on in the am and log into sierra the spread chart has stopped usually around the time i shut off the computer but sometimes it loads an extra hour or two. I then can only get it to download the historical data by using the re download data. i wont use it anymore. once i do this though it fills in the last nights chart and start updating for until i shut off the coimputer again. I will be more specific going froward on what is going on thanks again! you gusy ROCK! and so does the platform |

In regards to the custom formula symbol chart updating problem after reconnecting to the data feed, the only problem we could reproduce is there is not an indication of the Downloading state displayed on the chart. this was fixed and the fix is not really a fix. i have learned that yes you must create teh custom and symbol then log off and log back on again but also that the custom symbols must be created initially in the "MAIN INSTANCE" of sierra chart which makes sense now! thank you for all your help as usual. sioerra chart is awesome |
