Hello Everyone,

I'd need some help to set up an alert on a range of degrees ( for instance 0°-10°) of a slope based on cumulative delta.
I assume I should use the study angle but I have no clue how to output the degree of slope. Furthermore I would need to specify the distance
in which the degree of slope will be measured.
I would appreciate it a lot if someone could help me
Thanks!

The Study Angle study will do what you want. It outputs in degrees, you can set the lookback Length, and you can base it on a subgraph of the cumulative delta study.
Study Angle

Try this alert formula:
=AND(ID1.SG1>0,ID1.SG1<=10)

Unfortunately this alone is not what I need. The values are not right away usable degrees of a tilt.
Do you know how to set up an alert for, let's say, the study angle SG increases from -40 to + 20 over the duration of 3 bars?
Even better would be a relative increment in percent, instead of abs values ( -40 to +20)

It's not clear to me what you need.

What is the expected 'relative increment in percent' if it went from -40 to +20 over 3 bars?
If you set the study's Length to 3, the current bar will have the slope over 3 bars.

Must the slope also cross zero for an alert?

Yes you are right with period setting. I'm pretty new to this and sometimes I don't see the most simple solution.
The slope doesn't need to alert when crossing zero
Thanks!
