is it intentionally not switching to another chartbook?

There should not be a problem with this. Make sure you are running the current version of Sierra Chart:
Software Download: Fast Update

Try selecting a Chartbook from the CB menu at the top of the main Sierra Chart window. Do you still notice the problem?

Hello,

Are the features on the General Settings fully documented?

Google search for: "support multiple rows" site:sierrachart.com
Zero results.

Google search for: "show arrows at start" site:sierrachart.com
This thread comes up.

Nothing else.

Docs page: General Settings Window
I think I see how this works, but it would be nice to have it in the docs once time allows...
Seems that by default there are arrows like this <> that display at the right of the screen, if necessary. The tabs that extend beyond the window are truncated and the arrows allow you to move the view to see all the tabs.
By checking "Show Arrows At Start", the arrows are moved to the left side of the screen and removed from the right side of the screen. The truncation still exists.
By checking "Support Multiple Rows", the "Show Arrows At Start" option is disabled due to the idea that the tabs would extend to multiple lines and therefore always be visible.

The arrows disappear, but when I try with a chartbook of 4 tabs, and reduce the window width, the tabs disappear rather than being moved to a second or third line. I will play with it. Perhaps it requires more tabs be activated?

If you do update the docs, for me, it might be nice to show a full graphical version of the latest dialog documented.
This way I can quickly understand if they are looking at recent documentation or if it is out of date. That way, I can request an update if confused by any new or removed features.
In any case, I find visual documentation easier to quickly digest than text-only documentation.

Thank you.

We cannot reproduce this issue.
