I realize that TD Ameritrade was removed from the available options, and now I do not have real time data, yet am being charged as if I were. I plan on connecting a new data provider, but is there any way to get around creating an entirely new account on one of those providers? I had an account with TD Ameritrade as stated, and it will be a big inconvenience if I am forced to create an entirely new account somewhere for the sole purpose of connecting it to Sierra, so that I may get real time data again (although it still says that the Denali Exchange data and my previous package is activated on my account).

Additionally- I use Tradovate and was wondering if I would be able to connect through them, if possible. Thanks

We developed a relatively easy solution for this. The instructions are here:

The solution given above is much much easier.

What is the total cost of setting up a TT account under the following instructions, and only using CME data?

100 USD being the deposit money or a 100 USD fee on top of everything else? In other words will I take on an additional fee of 100 USD that is nonrecoverable?

100 USD is what you deposit in the account. To our knowledge there are no other costs from AMP.

Okay great that's what I guessed- thanks. And I will be paying for sierra through the sierra website, so where exactly will I tell AMP that is the case?

I just typed in my name, email, etc on that link that you all have posted under instructions. I submitted and it responded by saying "Your request has been sent to you via e-mail". I'm not sure what the next step is, as that link does not seem to help me in opening an account, and I'm quite honestly not sure what I just requested. I need to know if I just go ahead and ignore that link and create an account by going through the regular website or what. Please help ASAP

I'm not comfortable opening a bunch of new accounts, especially when I am somewhat confused as to the steps- they are very vague and not helpful. Yes I realize I am an incompetent idiot when it comes to technical stuff, but I can't be the only one you all deal with.

You do not need to tell AMP anything. The point of opening the account with $100 is simply to have a funded trading account is so that you can take advantage of the nonprofessional exchange fees.

Just make sure you do not specify that you want to use any particular platform when you open the account.

Just follow the instructions as they are laid out on this link to be able to open the account. Here is the link:
