upgraded my historical version install to 1071 (still using 1070 for my intraday). once data is downloaded I received this error message every 1 second in the message log - "An unhandled exception was caught in c_Chart::WindowProc. Message: 275, wParam: 100, lParam: 0 | 2014-01-05 11:45:46"

We are not able to duplicate this problem. We will need to get your Chartbook to test this. Could you attach it here. You can attach it privately. Here are the instructions:

Please only attach one Chartbook. Not anything more.

Thanks! That seems to have squashed that issue.

One question, all the futures charts I follow do in fact convert back for 10 years, with 3 exceptions. Historical data for ZB, ZF, ZN late-November 2010. I verified I have chart settings set to load farther back than that time.

Are you referring to Historical Daily charts?

"...with 3 exceptions. Historical data for ZB, ZF, ZN only loads from late-November 2010 forward. I verified I have chart settings set to load farther back than that time."

Is that all the data available for these 3 instruments?

It does work perfect for us:

Maybe there is some missing data. This should automatically be detected by Sierra Chart when you select Chart >> Reload and Recalculated and the missing data will be downloaded.

If not, you should open up Historical charts for the particular contract months which seem to be missing and make sure the data is there. If not, then go to Edit >>Delete All Data and Download for the particular chart.

I found the issue on those 3 instruments. I missed the error message in the log because of the every 1 second message - "An unhandled exception was caught in c_Chart::WindowProc. Message: 275, wParam: 100, lParam: 0 | 2014-01-05 11:45:46". Apparently because I had several instruments to be updated, I received an "data for day limit exceeded" and I presumed that caused the data for these 3 to not be downloaded. I tried again this morning and it worked fine.

Thanks - great upgrade/addition!

OK good. You may want to update to package 5 for higher data download limits. We will be increasing the limit for package 5 today.
