Hi there,
Have had a good look and can't see any documentation, or examples, to see if this is possible.
At the moment I have a volume profile set up for numbers bars as well as displaying the trades made.
What I'm after is for the sell side to be in red and the buy side to be in green, rather than one uniform colour based on whether the price bar in question closed up or down. If down then the entire volume profile will be red etc. Please see attached photo.

Is there any way to have sell side as red on the profile, and buy side in green within the same candle with no reference to whether it closed up or down?

Thanks,

Bootsy

We are not really understanding what you are looking for as the image you attached is from a different program and is a DOM, not the chart bars.

Can you give us an image of what you have now that you are looking to change? Refer to the information here for how to get an image from Sierra Chart:

Apologies, totally wrong file! Here is the current set up, I would like sell side to be in red and buy side to be in green. Is that possible with numbers bars? I've tried playing with all the colours etc and nothing seems to work.

Set the Column n Background Type to Ask/Bid Volume Split Profilt and then set the Column n Background Coloring Method to one of the "Separate" methods, depending on what you want to see, such as the Based on Separate Ask Volume Bid Volume - Actual.

Refer to the following section for informaiton on the Split Background types:
Numbers Bars: Numbers Bars Background Types

And refer to the following (and the section after it) regarding the Separate Background Coloring options:
Numbers Bars: Background Coloring Based on Separate Ask Volume Bid Volume - Actual
