I am trying to download data lower than one minute on a low bandwidth connection and it always times out like this... I can download minute data fine, but more detailed than that... A heartbeat timeout occurs.

Here is a different variation that just occurred... I don't have this problem with DTN IQFeed or the Infinity Futures data feeds.

We do have a solution, but the solution does cost a little extra. You can use the Sierra Chart market data feed:

Otherwise, we don't know really what we can do about this. It's not something we have any control over.

Thanks. I might consider it. Minute historic data is fine for what I need.

If you only need one minute historical data, then what you need to do is select Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Intraday Data Storage Time Unit >> 1 Minute.

After this disconnect from the data feed and then reconnect with the commands on the File menu and then re-download the data in the chart with Edit >> Delete All Data and Download.

For some background information, when you use our own data service, there is about a 4 to 5 minute timeout which is used on both the client and server-side to allow for communication problems. So it is very tolerant. It has been used now for nearly 10 years and works very well.
