Chart Trading and Trade Activity log

I recently upgraded to Level 5 and the trade activity log is blank and there is not chart trading information. I use the Infinity DOM and it used to allow chart trading and would populate information into the trade activity log. Please help to resolve this issue.

Are you doing the trading directly from Sierra Chart?

If not, this is not an issue we have any control over.

But one thing to look at is when you are trading from the Transact software, do you see the orders show up within Sierra Chart in Trade >> Trade Orders Window?

I tried trading directly on Sierra Charts today. I tried trading in the DOM and on the charts but all orders get rejected. The rejected orders that are entered within Sierra Charts do show up in the Trade Orders window. None of the trades that are entered through Transact show up anywhere. Below is the message that I received when I tried to place orders through Sierra.

TransAct WS order update (Order reject). Info: Trade Order Error - Trading connection is disconnected. Internal Order ID: 81. Service Order ID: 23304. Symbol: NQH0. Account: 41795 | 2020-01-22 08:35:34.264 *

Set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Use Market Data Connection Only to False.

And then reconnect to the data feed:

Awesome! That fixed all of my issues. Chart trading is back, order fills are showing and all of it from the infinity DOM. Thanks!

That is good. Really we had not thought about that option previously. Anyone who has the issue, it will be resolved by making sure the trading connection is enabled.
