Hello, first of all - I have read your recommendations not to use chart updating intervals lower than 100ms. The following issue occurs for updating intervals of 100ms as well as 200ms or 300ms. I recognized that the chart updating slowed down significantly, when I was adjusting my limit order via chart trading (moving the horizontal trading line up and down). For the first time I recognized this for a faster market as NQ, especially during the opening... It seemed that the chart somehow freezed and only updated once a second. this is the reason why I was am wondering if that is a bug or a feature? Assuming this is not an intended feature - any recommendations how to handle or improve it? thanks in advance |

Refer to help topic 30: High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often One thing we can say with certainty is the issue is not related to modifying an order. That would be impossible. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point.
