New Sierra Charts Is Outta Whack

Man listen, just stick to one release. Every time there is a new release, I encounter more problems. Now, my charts continuously updates. I can't even trade because it loads, one second later it reloads. IT JUST CONTINUOSLY RELOADS. Tired of dealing with these lame ass trading platforms. Develop one that sticks with no bugs!!!! Or I'm going back to Ninja, pissed off this morning!!!

This is not a bug. There is a reason why this is happening based upon your study and chart configuration. I had the same issue when I updated to the new release, Version 2028 64 bit. Sierra Chart was showing a 'Not Responding' error every couple of seconds. The Charts would reload continuously every couple of seconds. This is the way I resolved this. I closed all my Chartbooks. Then I reopened my Chartbooks one by one until I found the Chartbook which was reloading every few seconds. Save this Chartbook using a different name to back it up. Then I removed the Charts one by one from this Chartbook until I found the Chart that was reloading every few seconds. In my case, it was a Market Profile Chart. After I removed this one chart, the issue was fixed. You can reopen your Backup Chartbook now and remove this one chart to fix the issue and then overwrite your original Chartbook. |

We really do not know why updating would change anything in regards to this but if a chart is continuously reloading it does have a very specific cause and solution. The documentation we linked to explains this.
