See it listed in "What's New" but don't see it in the studies list.

This means that the study file did not get updated for some reason when you did the update, although this should happen automatically.

There is a new version - 2032 now available. Update using the following instructions and let us know if the study shows up after that installation is complete.

The problem seems to have something to do with updating when SC is currently open (either from the interface using Help > Download Pre-Release or the installer).

When SC is open, it errors out when trying to move files during the installation(Windows Error 32 cannot move file because it is being used by another process).

Don't recall having this issue at any time in the past when updating while SC was open.

Regardless, when you close SC and use the installer to update, everything installs correctly.

Thanks.

You have got to be kidding us. You cannot possibly be running Sierra Chart while updating it. That has never been supported and is technically impossible. The operating system will not even allow it. When you use Fast Update you cannot even be running Sierra Chart.

Yes, you have to close it when updating, it forces you to.

My point was when starting this process while SC was still running, it didn't work.

Thanks though for the snide response.

If anyone in my business responded to long term customers like that (as well as all the other instances with customers in these forums), they'd be fired on the spot.

You do not understand the nature of our business. The senior engineers do not get terminated here. If we were terminating senior engineers on the spot, this would be an incredibly unstable business.
