Hi,

I subscribe SC real time data feed and have a few issues.

"HistoricalChart.PNG", "ChartSetting1.PNG" and "ChartSetting2.PNG"
The weekly CL continues contract back-adjusted does not seem right.
I removed all ".dly" files than re-downloaded it a couple times without success.

"TradeActivityLog.PNG"
There's a trade that can not be right. Please see the highlighted area.

"ZN_Reload_Before.PNG" and "ZN_Reload_After.PNG"
Every time I open ZN contract SC deletes December 2013 contract and download 300mb of it again.
I don't have video record however as you can see the attached files SC does delete and download each every time.

Thank you.

1. Use a date-based rollover instead of a volume-based rollover. We are looking into why the volume-based rollover does not work with CL. Might have something to do with just how the CL futures volume is.

2. About the Trading Activity Log. We cannot help with this. If you believe there is an error with those particular highlighted values it is due to a market data price error or some other cause. We do not know what symbol you are referring to. We do not know whether this is from simulator live trading. We do not know the trade prices. We do not know exactly what you you did with Sierra Chart in relation to those particular values and trades. There are just way too many variables here.

It is totally impossible for us to provide help with this and generally these kinds of questions are not within the scope of our support unless the problem is consistently reproducible and we have clear details and it is presented to us in the most simplest way possible. Unless we believe there is a problem that we need to correct, and we do not, we will not get involved with this. If the problem is not reproducible, then no need to provide anything further.

3. When this happens with the ZN, provide a copy of the Message Log, by following these steps:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=PostingInformation.php#log

And are you using the Continuous Futures Contract option on an Intraday ZN chart?

1. Should I go to CME web site to get the rollover date or is it built into new data feed?

2. It is not a big deal. Is there a way I can manually alter the values?

3. I attached ZN log, it re-downloaded 300 m-byte again.

Thank you.

1. The rollover rules are already programmed in. You just need to select Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Continuous Contract>> Continuous Futures Contract-Date Rule Rollover. This is all.

3. We are checking on this.

3. It still re-downloads 370 m-bytes.

I found a weird error.

Conditions are.
1. connect to IB gateway.
2. login SC
3. connect to IB from SC
4. IB displays "Data Farms not connected"
5. Attempt to shut down SC raises a window's un-handled error message.

However IB does not display the "Data Farms not connected" message anymore.

I am not sure this error would repeat or it was just temporary.

Thanks.

3. Yes, we still see certain scenarios were this can happen. We are working on them.

4."Weird error": We suspect this is some issue on the IB side. If it does not re-occur, we will let this go. Otherwise, we will look into it. What was the exact error you got on shutdown of Sierra Chart?

4. SC paused a few seconds than visual studio (compact edition) asked me to debug un-handled error or on another PC asked me to send error message to Microsoft. I did not see the detail error message. There's no SC error message on the log. It is my first time seeing this kind of error message since I started using SC. So I guess we can let go of it for now. I will inform you when this occur again.

33. Download Sierra Chart again with Help >> Download Prerelease. The problem should be solved.

The version number is the same. Let us know if you still see this issue.

3. It does not re-download dec-2013 contract anymore. The issue is gone.

Thank you very much and happy new year.
