Hi,
did you check this?

I did check those. The problem is sometimes it is in my add study’s folder and sometimes not. When it is and I load it, if I close and re open Sierra it’s gone. I see it in my Sierra data folder and chart book at all times . But when I right click on the chart and go to studys>add study it’s not there .

Own experience (I distribute my libraries to over 200 people):

It happened to one Transact user. Sometimes he didn't have a study (list without studies) ... other times he had a study, but he didn't have a setting inside

this helped: the version of Sierrachart couldn't be different than the version of Sierrachart under which the file was compiled, then everything was fine

Another, but direct user: library was not available, others were
In the message log: "CreateStudyDLLModuleFunctionObject Error loading file_64.dll. Windows error code 1114: The dynamic library (DLL) initialization process failed. | 2019-12-12 07: 35: 30.311"

this helped: the user had too many libraries in the Sierrachart / DATA folder. Removing several of them has initialized those that previously reported an error.

Regarding the issue in post #4 (Error code 1114) we have heard that this does not happen on a 64-bit build.

Also, as long as Sierra Chart is at a version that is equal to or higher than the version the custom study was built with, then the custom study can be used. But there is less common exception where the custom study is built for a very old version in which case it may not be supported anymore.

Sierra Chart Engineering) Sorry, but I disagree....

No, if I currently copy 3 times more libraries to DATA folder than I have, I see the same issue. Some libraries won't be there. Do you want a screen? :) SCH 2017 64-bit

EDIT: My test now -> after 60 custom files every other new one automatically shows an error code 1114
I attach the "Add Custom study" tab screen

I don't report this to you as a bug, I just wrote to the author of the topic if he doesn't have many files there.

Personally, I think that 60 custom files as a limit (for me, in other pc the number may be different) is more than sufficient...

No, I wrote also this problem here on the forum, it was only one user, although similarly it happened to more people - they all had in common - "Transact-user" You mentioned him to the 3rd party developer (me), we found this solution. I know what you write: "Higher version than compiled is ok ...." NOT ... In his case, the version had to be absolutely identical. Then it worked. Not otherwise. After that I didn't have time to solve what is the cause anyway, it cost me a lot of time and a lot of compilations. And it's definitely not a common problem. It was extraordinary. More than 200 people have never had a problem with the same library.
Here I mention it as an experience. ;)

Strange...Only one option remains. If this occurs again, send the message log screen.

Ackin, I am getting “Createstudy object error “ in my studies to graph side like you stated earlier. My add study side does not have the study I pasted to my data folder. Which route do you recommend ?

1) Turn off Sierra
2) Find the .dll files in the Data folder that are custom but do not use them
3) To test this, move several custom .dll to another folder
4) Copy your current custom library .dll there (to Data)
5) Turn on Sierra and see if it helped
