Adding a chart to DOM

Hello,

Currently, we are able to add a DOM to a chart, but not the opposite. Though this might seem to be exactly the same thing. It is not. For those of us who have spent time customizing & tweaking our DOM settings/columns etc, we have to start again.
For those of us who like to primarily focus on the DOM for scalping, it is also a distraction having to keep shifting eyes & cursor to the chart to move the targets & Stops as we like our eyes on the current trades at all times once in the trade so to manage it
Though for my method it is important to have the chart & DOM price ladder synced and at the same visual level. Is this something you can do?

I hope I have explained this clearly. I have attached an image to hopefully help you understand my request.

Many thanks

A chart can be configured just like a Trading DOM. There might be a small difference in regards to scaling, However, we can add the same scaling functionality when enabling the Chart DOM on a normal chart.

And we could add the capability to convert a Trading DOM into a chart.

User191165: the bookmap chartbook I posted, was originally adjusted/optimized for the ZB symbol - so you need to adjust the scale settings of the bookmap chart window first, to display the correct tick increment for the ES. You can do it at Chart settings -> Scale -> Increment = 0.25

After doing this, you will have the same, correctly displayed scale on your chart.

The chartbook contains fully configured Chart DOM as well that you can turn on on the bookmap chart (Trade -> Trading Chart DOM On). So you will practically have a 100% same functionality DOM that has chart as well.

At chart settings -> Advanced settings you can adjust all the trade drawings to be aligned to the right, so you can access them conveniently and easily without losing focus on the DOM prints and without the need to move your cursor too much.

As you may already know I am a DOM trader and I use a mix of Trade DOMs and Chart DOMs and never had any issue switching between them - they provide the exact same functionality for me.
I use the above described method on many of my charts.

If you got the bookmap chartbook as a member of my Patreon site, then you should have access to my Discord group as well. You can always contact me there to ask for support/adjustments related to the chartbooks I create.

Hope this helps,

If not could this be implemented? Can I simply click on the dom price scale and...

( let's say i am in a long trade)

Click on the price scale at a specific price and the target order/non attached limit order will move to it

Click on the price scale at a specific price and the stop order / non attached order will move to it

If not could this also be implemented?

Thanks again

You could add commands to the context menu 'Chart Trade Menu'

Global Settings Menu: Customize Chart Trade Menu (Global Settings menu)

commands to add -

'Move Targets to Price'
'Move Attached Stops to Price'

This does not achieve your exact requirement, but does enable you to move stops/targets to required level with 2 clicks in the DOM window (but not on the price scale).
