Hello, there is a problem with automatic time change.

In Moscow/Russia we do not change time to winter time or summer time. So, as I had +3 Moscow time range and end of session at 23:59:59 and start of the session 1:00:00 - this do not work for right mow.

To change the start of the session and end of the session on all! charts is a huge waste of time. Is there any auomatic solution for this ?

I use OHLC of the daily bar. If I place time start 00:00:00 and end at 22:59:59 I have the bias on local time frame. Cause I see that trading is still during 23pm, 00am, 1am (then pause) and start at 2am.

If I have day start at 2:00:00 and end at 00:59:59 - the historically I have A LOT OF GAPS.

Would you provide me the info what exactly should I write at settings ?

P.S. Please, do not send me the links for your web description of time zone and etc - there is nothing to understand.

I also live where there is no Daylight Savings Time.
The easiest way to deal with this is to set Sierra Chart's time zone to match the market's time zone.
For example, use Chicago or New York or London time zones, etc.

The global time zone is set at File >> Data/Trade Service Settings.
You can override the global setting on individual charts at Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Setting tab.

You'll then just have to remember when those markets change their time each season.

But that is not normal.

This platform charges money from me, the users with DST have theit ability to work normally with no problem. Why cant I ? ecause devs do not want to fix it ?

I will start a new support request every week untill devs do not fix this.

Building on tomglib's reply, I find/believe the best approach is to set each Chart to match the timezone of the exchange. This is the most logically correct.

It is not a solution. I am working a lot with the statistics of my trades. Do you find it comfortable always to transform time difference to my one to understand for example "which time is the most profitable". Or I am working with time alerts. I need to place time alert for the chart and always remember that is is with time difference ? It seems like servitude for the winter time cause Devs do not want to fix it since 2013! 6 years and no solution!

уважаемый, твой пафос выглядит более, чем неуместно и некрасиво.
не нравится - не пользуйся.

а лучше - переставь время на подходящий пояс и забей на не имеющие смысла мелочи.

The markets you trade do not care you are in Russia just like they don’t care I am in London.

Eurex opens at 0800CET. ES cash opens at 0830 CT. etc. This is the way to measure your stats - based on exchange time. Your time zone is irrelevant and just adds complication.

After this threat, I expect Sierrachart to hire 5 new programmers to resolve your request as soon as possible.

Tomgilb has already answered you and quite well. Your request is not a technical problem but a limitation. So it would be appropriate to ask for and not "threaten with spam"
