Dear SC Support/Engineers,

Would you please let me know about the reason for the following message line that appears on the message log, and about a way to remove it from the message log?

"Error getting list of user files to download. Response: ERROR: Downloading of files on startup is disabled | HTTP status: Request completed with the HTTP response status code 200 | 2019-10-12 11:20:21.102"

I was using SC version 1715 and the above message line appears in the message log whenever I log into/open SC (the above message line usually appears after the message line "Received 5 login tokens"). No chartbook or chart is loaded yet. I've also installed a fresh copy of latest SC version (so every setting and file is default) to see if it's the same and the same message line appears.

I already did the following 2 things but the above message line didn't go away.

1) I've logged into my "Account Control Panel" page, and in "File Download" of the sub-section "Enabled Studies and Files Set to Download", it's already set to "Disabled".

2) In the SC software login menu, there is a check-box "Open Files on Startup" and it's already "unchecked".

Given the above settings (especially "1)" above as probably "2)" is unrelated to the issue), I expected the above message line won't appear in the message log but it's still there. Would you please let me know the reason as to why such a message line appears in the message log and won't go away, and if there is anything else I need to do.

Thanks.

On the following page:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=EnabledCustomStudies#FileDownload

Under "Toggle File Download", File Downloads are Disabled.

The message just lets you know that file downloads are disabled for your account. If you enable file downloads the message would go away.
