I have received a shared custom study and chartbook from another Sierra user (AC116576).
He was in communication with you about this error last week and was told that I would need to contact you.
The study is located in the data folder but does not show up when I have the chart studies open and search in the Add Custom Study.

Also, on the chartbook which came with the study applied, I get this

CreateStudyDLLModuleFunctionObject Error loading C:\SierraChart\Data\OpenRangeBO.dll. Windows error code 126: The specified module could not be found. Likely missing dependency file.

I am running Sierra 1997 on Windows 10

Any advice?

We are not aware of this.

You need to have them send you the OpenRangeBO.dll file and you need to put it into the folder: C:\SierraChart\Data\

To clarify:
2 files were shared with me through Sierra's distribution system. I enabled the file download feature of Sierra.
Sierra then downloaded a chartbook and a Custom Study and placed them both in my Data folder.

When I open the chartbook and look at the Studies assigned to the chart, all of the studies are normal except for the custom study downloaded. That is where I get this message:
CreateStudyDLLModuleFunctionObject Error loading C:\SierraChart\Data\OpenRangeBO.dll. Windows error code 126: The specified module could not be found. Likely missing dependency file.

Additionally, if I start a new chart and try to add the Custom Study, the OpenRangeBO Study is not available in the list of Custom Studies, even though it is sitting in my Data folder.

Sierra and my computer have both been restarted numerous times and the problem persists.

Most likely the problem is there is some other dependent DLL file which you need to put in the Sierra Chart Data Files Folder. We would not know what that file is. Only the developer of that custom studies DLL file would know.
