Hi I was wondering if I can utilize the charts to get the realtime pairs trading data. I use TOS, however I do not get the charts as fast as what I want. Maybe I can use this. Can you give me a call at (see acct info for phone number) to discuss. Thanks, Prakash |

From customer: I wanted to basically understand whether the price on the chart changes immediately tick by tick, or is it refreshed after certain time. In TOS, I can see the price move in the charts after every second or so.
I want to do this to trade pairs like SPY -QQQ. While there is an ability to stop price the pair, I do not get the price which TOS chart shows, because the price has moved. I was wondering if with sierra chart I get almost realtime price, which moves continuously then I can pair trade better. I want to do short term frequent pair trades. That is why continuously changing price is important to me. The Chart Update Interval is adjustable: Chart Settings: Chart Update Interval in Milliseconds (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Update Interval menu) And you can create charts using any custom formula.
