Hi Team,

Please see the attached image. For some reason there is a gap on the daily chart, where if you look to the upper left on a 240 min chart, there is clearly no gap.

Can someone please help me figure this out?

Note, as I am uploading a shot of multiple synch'ed charts I have uploaded a screenshot... I hope this is OK.

Thanks in advance.

Mitch

The gap you are referring to is not clear to us in the screenshot, but in any case these are continuous futures contract charts, so refer to:

Hi there. Thanks for the link. If you look at the bottom arrow, the market closes low, and the next bar opens up much higher. IF you look at the 240min chart up the top, there are no gaps in trading.

So just trying to figure out why that gap is there.

I've re-downloaded the data as per the link you provided, but it didn't help.

Any other ideas?

Cheers,
Mitch

Therefore, refer to:
Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Displaying Rollover Transition Times and Contract Months

And make sure you did indeed re-download the data exactly as documented for all contract months:

Hi again,

Sorry but this isn't getting me any closer... see the attached image where Ive highlighted a big gap on the daily chart, however not there is no gap on the 240 minute chart, or the other intraday charts.

What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks again,
Mitch
