Hello! I cant see charts (only frames of chart's windows) when I turn on OpenGL. We need to know if you are still encountering this exception when you disable the OpenGL option and restart Sierra Chart. Please let us know. It may be unrelated to OpenGL.

Hello! Chartbook is attached. All work propelly When I turn off OpenGL. I tested this few times. When OpenGL is on - I have problem, when off - no problem! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-10-09 13:42:31

I have tested different Chartbooks, on different instances. I have the same prodblem: detached Chart work good, attached Charts - only window's frames!!! |

can you try to keep all windows on the same monitor where you run SierraChart, please?

Hello! Main window = MW; Attache window = AW Any monitor connected to GPU1 = M1, Any monitor connected to GPU2 = M2 1. If MW was closed on M2 then it will work good after new start, as will be opened on M2 1.1 After started - GPU2 usage for example 8-10%, GPU1 usage 1% (MW still on M2) 1.2 MW was be moved from M2 to M1 then GPU2 usage 30-35% and GPU1 usage 30-35%!!! 1.4 MW on M2 and AW on M2: GPU2-12%, GPU1 - 1%; 1.5 MW on M2 and AW on M1: GPU2-15%, GPU1 - 5% 2. If MW was closed on M1 then after new start I have only frames on MW, as it will be opened on M1. AW work OK. 2.1 After started GPU2 usage 1-2%, GPU1 usage 1-2% (still on M1) 2.2 If MW will be moved from M1 to M2 then will be the same situation - MW=Franes, AW=OK!!! 3. New issue - wrong rendering of Marker Tool if checked "Draw outline only (Hollow)" option. Check it please. The frame of this marker changes when scrolling chart, part of the frame diappear randomly! PS All indicated GPU usage was on equal load!!!!!!!!!! |

Hello! Today I have tested v2009. Additionally I tryed to use Nvidia Control Panel. 1. Nvidia Control Panel\Manage 3D settings\OpenGL rendering GPU = Auto-Select - the same situation described in post #12 2. Nvidia Control Panel\Manage 3D settings\OpenGL rendering GPU = GPU1 2.1 No empty frames in any combinations 2.2 MW on M1 - GPU1 10%, GPU2 0-1% 2.3 MW on M2 - GPU1 30-35%, GPU2 30-35%!!! 2. Nvidia Control Panel\Manage 3D settings\OpenGL rendering GPU = GPU2 2.1 No empty frames in any combinations 2.2 MW on M2 - GPU1 10%, GPU2 0-1% 2.3 MW on M1 - GPU1 30-35%, GPU2 30-35%!!! In any case DW add resonable load to GPU1 if located on M1 or to GPU2 if located on M2 (does not matter which GPU is selected in Nvidia Control Panel) Now I have to select GPU (Nvidia Control Panel) and control manually that MW must be on monitor connected to selected GPU! In this case no GPU's overload and no empty frames! |
