How do I make hollow candlestick bars? I would like the outline to be red or green but the inside hollow. It saves a tremendous amount of ink when printing.

try going to global settings>graphics settings then change candlestick up fill and candlestick down fill to the same color as your background

k do this for each chart you want to change click the chart go to chart tab>graphics settings check use global graphics settings instead of these settings OR you can just change the candlestick up/down fill from this menu for each chart Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-04-11 17:41:43

the same way either do it by checking the box from the graphics menu in the chart tab, or change candlestick fill in the menu from the chart tab you have to click the chart before clicking the chart tab

Therefore the candlestick color settings do affect Renko bars. We verified this just now. Unless you happen to be using one of the older Renko studies. In that case, the settings through the study itself affect the colors. It's not working with the renko chart.

it should unless you are using the renko as the study rather than the chart setting. like the support said, you should be using the chart setting. go to chart settings>bar period:renko in ticks or flex renko either one should work delete the study renko Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-04-11 18:21:28
