Sierra Chart & Transact -- Is the Love Affair Over?

My situation:

Using a brand new, clean-installed Windows 10 Home Laptop;

Have a trading account with Infinity Futures, which uses Transact as their trading platform;

Clean-installed Sierra Chart v1915, and could not connect to Transact;

Installed Sierra Chart v1971, and could not connect to Transact WS.

I have tried to follow the discussions regarding Transact on the Support Board, but frankly I do NOT understand what the current situation is.

Does Sierra Chart no longer work with Transact?

Thanks!

We will contact Transact for you about this now. Apparently they have to authorize users to use the new websocket connection.

Cordell7700,

Contact your Infinity broker and see if you can use v1941 for both trading and charting. It has the legacy TA bridge connection, which still works, despite what you may have heard.

As a user, my limited understanding of the situation is that the new websocket connection is still not ready for primetime yet - meaning both trading and charting thru Sierra.

We are going to work on restoring the old Transact bridge program this evening. So that will be out before morning.

Also not sure why you would have a problem with version 1915. Anyway we have contacted Transact for you. We will let you know when we get the response.

Regarding this, Transact has said the connection should now work with the websocket connection for your account.

Let us know if you can connect using the current versions of Sierra Chart. We can also call you to help you with this.
