Hi guys,

I was just setting up for Sierra and had a query about a price.
(I am using AMP Futures as my broker and pay for SC via AMP).

When I go to pick my real-time data connections (20 real time symbols), I expected to see a $25 charge for 1st connection, but its coming up as $30. Has there been a price rise since July? (I know I will have to pay another $15.75 for my CQG feed)

Thanks
Chris

1. From:

Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed: Data Feed Pricing

If your Sierra Chart account is provided through a Reseller or your Broker, there might be an additional charge. Refer to the Real-Time Data Connections section on the Exchange Data Feed Features for the pricing that applies to your account.

2. What markets do you need data for or want to trade? For example, what particular futures, Forex or stock symbols. You can also give us the exchanges that the particular symbol or symbols trade on.

We have a new data feed called the Denali Exchange Data Feed:
Denali Exchange Data Feed

This is the data feed you want to use.

You do not want to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed which you have provided screenshots for.

What markets - SP futures (ES), oil (CL), NASDAQ futures. Some co-traders trading the same markets using AMP + SC said they are paying $25+15.75, does that mean they are using Denali? Just want to check cos none of them mentioned that to me ;-)

Cheers

Just chatted to a couple of co-traders - it seems if you pay for SC pkg 5 via AMP ($25/mo) then select the data feed in Sierra website it comes up at $30/mo, whereas if I pay for SC upfront for a year, then sierra will be $25/mo and the data feed will be $25/mo, i.e. cheaper. Correct?

How much hassle is it to undo my AMP Sierra and just pay direct instead?

Regarding Denali, it says its $20 if uses SC routing, else $30.

That information you heard from others is out of date.

The documentation does show that the Denali Exchange Data Feed is 25 per month if you are not using the TT based order routing:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: Pricing

This is the data feed that you will want to use. Not what is called the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed.

And if you are using CQG you do not have to pay for the Sierra Chart data feed unless you want a better data feed. But we do have many reports of issues now with their extended market depth data for the CL futures. And we examined that quite closely and came to the conclusion, that there is an inherent flaw in the way that they do that data which makes studies like the Bid and Ask Depth Bars not work so well:
Bid Ask Depthbars not being calculated

From our perspective this is not a problem at all.
