Still on v1941 and wishing to update Sierra but still trade via the charts with TransAct.
Enquired today with TA re status of web socket connection and received the following reply via email:
"We are unsure when you will be able to upgrade to the most recent version. That will depend on Sierras IT personnel’s ability to sync the two platforms."
Other posts I have seen on this board indicate Sierra are blaming TA for inability to allow live trading.
Please try to progress this matter.

We don't think that whoever you received that email from is familiar with the circumstances. And we are not blaming anyone. The Transact trading functionality over the websocket just has not yet been released for live trading. It is not like they have some inability.

They are just still working on it. We had thought it was ready to go weeks ago though.

The email received from TA clearly implies the writer thinks the solution is dependent on Sierra's ability to synch the two platforms.
I have forwarded the email to support@sierrachart.com in the hope it may help resolve the situation.
