See screenshot:

1. Why do I get this red tag on my formulas?

2. Column I containing fixed data. How do I remove the gaps so that information is compressed.at the top?

I am quite enjoying the spreadsheet functionality. Way easier than the SQL Ive been using.

1. The red tag just means that there is a formula in the cell, rather than just static data. Refer to this section of the documentation that states this:
Working with Spreadsheets: Formulas

2. It is not possible to change the data in columns J and I. These are fixed by the program.

I think you are saying you cannot change the cell functions in J and I, so you cannot remove spaces or change the location of these cells, as they are "special" system functions.

The cells in Column J marked "Read/Write" in Column I can have their values changed. For example, J26 controls Order Size. It is normally 1 unless a positive value is saved in the cell.

Only the cells labeled "Read-Only" cannot have their values changed.

Another question. Im struggling to understand the Formula Source Sheet functionality.

On my spreadsheet, it says: 'Formula Source Sheet #1. Enter and modify formulas for this sheet on Sheet1'

So I go to sheet 1 and enter a formula into column K (=C3-D3)
I then go back to my charts spreadsheet and notice that the formula hasn't copied over.
I have a bunch of different sheets. The formula has not copied across to any of them.

I am trying to understand this help file but Im not getting it.

With respect to Post #3, you are correct. I was stating that you cannot change the order of the data in those rows - in other words, you cannot delete the empty rows. They are fixed by the program.

As stated in that post, you can modify any data in column I that is Read/Write.

The problem was that when using a Named Sheet along with a Formula Sheet Number, the Formula Sheet Number was the same as the Chart Number, which resulted in the data not copying over. This will be fixed in the next release.

In the meantime, you can work around the issue by simply changing the Formula Source Sheet Number to something other than 1 in this particular case.
