Hi,

I saw that when i enter a trade with an amount of 50k per example on the EURUSD, it's going normal(around 5$ per pip), but if it's a trade on a pair containing the yen, the same amount of 50k is like almost 500$ per pip. How can this be possible? i know it's related to yen pairs, but i can't understand why it's going this way, because i just came from metatrader, and it wasn't like that.

Please help

When you set Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> Common Profit/Loss Currency, to EUR, and look at a Profit/loss value, what do you see after the number? You should see a single letter code and then followed by that "EUR".

After changing that setting you may need to reconnect to the data feed with File >> Disconnect and File >> Connect to Data Feed.

I did what you said, disconnected, reconnected, etc. At the end of the profit/loss value, i have "P", not EUR.

Follow step 1 here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails77.html

You need to set the Position Profit/Loss format to Currency Value.

I did what you said, Now i have EURC at the end of the profit loss, but not on all the charts, and the problem of big position size on yen pairs is still there, when i trade owith only 10k, it seems, i trade a position of much more then 100k. It's the same issue on gold, fra40, ger30, jpn225, ukoil, etc...
I'm disapointed ;(.

Is the chart that shows EURC correct for the profit/loss value? If not, can you tell us the average price of the position, the position quantity, what you see for the PL, and the current Forex price.

For the other charts you also need to set the Position Profit/Loss to Currency Value as well.

We have added an additional week to your account.
