When you set Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> Common Profit/Loss Currency, to EUR, and look at a Profit/loss value, what do you see after the number? You should see a single letter code and then followed by that "EUR". After changing that setting you may need to reconnect to the data feed with File >> Disconnect and File >> Connect to Data Feed.
