Hi, how do I get my tick chart candles to be accurate? I see if I change the session times the candles will change and look different. Why is that? I want to have the most accurate candle information. How do I achieve this? Thanks

Yes, changing the Session Times will change the appearance of the chart bars.

That is because the starting time is different in regards to the building of the bars. More information about this is here:
Number Of Trades, Volume or Range Bar Charts Do Not Match Setting or Are Not Accurate or Are Inconsistent

Just make sure the chart Session Times are accurate and make sure that New Bar at Session Start is enabled in the Chart Settings.

I am still trying to work it out. I have used thinkorswim charts for a long time. I would like for my Sierra charts to match up with tos charts. But it doesn’t seem to be working out. Is that possible?

We cannot help with that. So long as the settings we mentioned in the post #2 are set as described, the chart bars are accurate.

What is the symbol of the chart?

I am just having problems with the accuracy of the candles compared to other platforms I have used. Can’t seem to get the tick chart lined up. The min charts are spot on.

It is going to be next to impossible to get bars based on a number of trades to match with other programs. This is definitively something we will not help with.

For the Session Times use a Start Time of 18:00:00 and an End Time of 17:59:59 assuming US Eastern time.:
