Deactivating alert for a bar

I am using the "color bar based on alert" study. Is there a way to ignore an alert for a specific bar? In other words, if an alert condition is true and at the end of the bar its color changes, is there a way to ignore the alert for that bar? Ideally it would be great if I could select a bar and just ignore the alert for that specific bar without affecting past or future alerts. Is something like this possible using the built in functionality of SC or is it something that must be custom coded? Thanks for you input. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-07-03 19:00:30

There is no way to ignore the alert in the manner that you have asked about - such as selecting a bar and excluding it. It is possible to do, but it is a bit of work, although once you have it setup it is pretty easy to copy and update. You would just need to exclude the time period for the particular bar as part of the Alert condition.
