[User Discussion] - Issue/bug Referencing Horizontal Line in alert formula

Hi,

I have a horizontal line on a chart with drawing ID # 430

When I write a formula using the last price,
eg C< UDID[430].A1
Then the alert does not succeed no matter what I do (ie move the line up and down and recalculate the alert where the last price is clearly lower than the line by a country mile)
However, if I change the formula to L < UDID[430].A1 it works as intended

Note this is part of a more complex formula but this is the only element that has issues.

So my point is that there seems to be a problem referencing C with a UDID but not referencing L

Can you please look into this

We are not able to reproduce this. When we test this, using both the Close (C) and the Low (L) with a Horizontal Line, it works properly.

A few questions
- Have you tried just this part of the formula to see how it works in your situation?
- Where is this formula being used, what particular alert item is this part of (Chart Alert, Study Alert, etc.)?
- Is this part of a Custom Study, or is this all being done through the user interface?

Closing this one.

Horizontal Ray is behaving perfectly so I will determine what it was on horizontal line that caused my issues
